 In 2000, The Kling Family started Stone House Saloon for bikers that attended Sturgis Rally each August. The family stocked a water trough full of ice-cold beer and loaded up on black Sharpies for visitors to leave their mark on the inside of the old, two-story stone house. It was a simple idea that grew little-by-little each year. Klings designed merchandise, hired live music, and created the world’s best bloody mary to ever exist.  By 2018, The Kling family was ready to enjoy the Rally as a guest instead of a host after 18 years. That’s when Chris & Rose Ann Besler purchased Stone House Saloon and worked alongside the Kling Family for their first year as owners. The Besler’s wanted to make sure to keep the family business aspect of Stone House Saloon that Kling’s started nearly two decades ago. With the help of family and good friends Stone House Saloon now has a dance floor, lifted stage and several covered sections. One thing that will never change…the netting that provides shade over the majority of the saloon. Chris and Rose Ann have added to Stone House Saloon each season in hopes to grow the business, honor those that have served our great country, but also keep the quaintness of the outdoor bar in the middle of nowhere.
